Things like this constantly infuriate me. If you would like a cookie, have a mother fucking cookie. Don’t eat sixteen boxes of Oreos in one sitting [I’ve tried. Didn’t end well.], but be aware that if you choose a cookie over a bowl of fruit, you are not a bad person, you will not gain ten thousand pounds, & you will not die.

Track is so amazing.

It’s all I look forward to doing during school. I love being able to kill my town routes every day (2 miles around town because we don’t have a track) and beat almost everyone else doing it. I love that I’ve spread my love of running and track to my little cousin, who decided to join the team this year. And I love that he keeps up with me on the town route.

I love coming home dirty and sweaty and hungry, not because it was a tough practice but because I made it one. I love how proud my parents are and how excited they are to watch me this year.

And I love my team. We’re closer than other any team out there and while we may not be the best, we’ll be dammed if we’re not having the time of our lives out there.
